Customer Service Technician

Phase Technology is looking for a superior service and support representative to join our team.

This position is well suited to individuals with a technical background and the ability to interact with customers, on a one-to-one basis and in group settings. A perfect fit if you’re a technical people-person!

Phase Technology is a world leader in the research, development and manufacturing of automated analyzer products for the global petroleum market. We seek highly motivated individuals who are interested in working with a dynamic and growing company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot customer issues via telephone, email, and in person.
• Repair customer equipment as per departmental standards.
• Document all repair and support issues as per departmental standards.
• Create and assist in review of application notes and other technical documentation.
• Perform onsite installations, field service, and customer training as required.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Must have strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Must have strong written and oral English communication skills.
• Must have strong customer service and presentation skills.
• Experience troubleshooting electronic circuits.
• Positive attitude and strong team player.
• Technical Diploma (BCIT) or equivalent. Requirement may be waived for individuals with equivalent job experience.

Software Engineer

This is a temporary (3 to 6 months) position, but extensible contingent on satisfactory performance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement embedded software applications to support existing and develop new programs.
   

Experience and Qualifications:

• Proficient and proven programming experience in the C and C++ languages.
• Strong aptitude in or have working experience with embedded Win CE systems, microcontrollers, and user interface design
• Knowledge in signal and image processing concepts, statistics, and numerical analysis techniques is added assets
• Good written and oral English communication skills
